Classics Taster/Study Days give you the opportunity to come to Oxford and learn about a particular area of Classics through expert-guided tuition. They offer students of all ages a unique opportunity to:
- Experience the University atmosphere and gain an insight into what it's like to be a student at this famous seat of learning.
- Meet current undergraduate students, graduates and Faculty tutors; this is particularly helpful for those who are interested in the Classical world but have not had like-minded people to share experiences with before.
- Enjoy some of the sights of Oxford with its world-renowned architecture and beautiful college gardens. Explore the famous museums and galleries which belong to the University, with guided tours, workshops and object-handling sessions.
- Soak up new ideas and helpful tips from experts in the field. Receive inspiring academic talks on various areas of the Classical world, participate in Drama and object-handling workshops, gain useful insight and tips on admissions through our session: 'Demystifying the Admissions process' (informal Q&A).
