Classical Conversations and school talks

A virtual or in-person talk by an Oxford Classicist in your classroom (or after school club, or young people's classical association, or summer school...)

We can chat with you about a range of Classical subjects, either based on the school curricula or something completely different. The Outreach Team have a number of interactive talks we can deliver if you're flexible on the topic.

Classical Conversations

The small print...

Classical Conversations are great a way to interact with an expert, so they usually won't take the form of a lecture. They could be an interactive talk, Q&A session or just a general conversation about a Classical topic.

If the talk is virtual you'll need a good wifi connection and a platform that allows interaction from both sides.

We ask that you put aside around an hour for them - they don't work well in a single 30 minute school period.
