The Oxford and Cambridge Classics Open Day is held on alternate years at Cambridge / Oxford.

In 2023 the event will be held in Oxford with an online option for those who can't make it.

Are you inspired by the ancient world of the Greeks and Romans? Have you considered studying CLASSICS at university?

Join us for a great day out in Oxford to find out more.

This FREE event is a fantastic opportunity for anyone who is considering undergraduate study in a classical subject.

  • Find out about the different degree courses you can choose from at Oxford and Cambridge
  • Tips on how to apply
  • Experience taster lectures
  • Take a college tour
  • Meet our current students who will be ready to answer all your questions.

The day is intended for potential applicants. Parents/supporters are discouraged to allow more students to access the event.

If a supporter is needed for access, health, safety etc then do book an extra ticket.

Please note that we are not a campus university. The event will take place at various sites around the city of Oxford and attendees will be expected to navigate between sites, negotiating traffic and other hazards usually present in a city. We recoginse this could be a health and safety concern and welcome parents who wish to support a student for this reason.

Teachers bringing a group of students from their school are also welcome.
